1. Geetel Communications services may only be used for lawful purposes.  Geetel Communications expressly forbids the transmission of any material which would violate any U.S. or state regulation.  Such transmissions include, but are not limited to material protected by trade secret laws, material judged to be threatening  in nature, and copyrighted material. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Geetel Communications from any responsibilities for the accuracy  or quality of information obtained through its services.

2. Geetel Communications exercises no control over the information passing  through its systems.  Additionally, no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, exist for any service provided by Geetel Communications.  Geetel Communications also disclaims any warrant or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  Geetel Communications will not be responsible for any damages you suffer, including loss of data resulting in delays, non-deliveries, or mis-deliveries.  Service interruptions caused via any Geetel Communications service is at your own risk.  Geetel Communications specifically denies any responsibility for the accuracy, quality or suitability of information obtained through its services.  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Geetel Communications and its owners from all claims that are a result of your usage.  This exemption for liability is without limitation.

3. The above item 2 notwithstanding, you agree that should you be found liable in a court of law for any reason related to your Geetel Communications services, our liability is limited to the unused portion of your subscription fee.

4. This system contains an unabridged copy of the information known as “UseNet” and portions of the system may contain messages which you may find offensive.  Geetel Communications does not censor or in any way control the contents of this or any other on-line information.  Nearly all of the information found here originates on systems other than those under direct Geetel Communications control.  Geetel Communications cannot confirm the proper classification of information presented in any areas of the system. By giving commands to view or transfer any information or file on any Geetel Communications system, or any system reached through the Geetel Communications system, you are consenting to the display or transfer of the information presented and waive all rights and claims toward Geetel Communications and its owners.

5. It is against Geetel Communicationss policy to spam or to send unsolicited e-mail.  Spamming is defined as posting multiple or repeated messages to a UseNet news group that is inappropriate to that news group.  Unsolicited e-mail involves sending e-mail messages to multiple individuals who have not requested such e-mail.  This is usually done when an advertisement is sent to a list of e-mail users.  Geetel Communications reserves the right to immediately terminate all services of spam or unsolicited e-mail  originated from your account or site.  All early contractual termination penalties immediately become due to Geetel Communications in the event that access must be terminated due to spamming or sending unsolicited e-mail.

6. Geetel Communications prohibits attempts to retrieve significantly large amounts of news and/or mail from its network outside of methods specifically endorsed by Geetel Communications.

7. Geetel Communications prohibits any attempts to bypass its pricing structure.

8. Geetel Communications may discontinue any or all levels of service at its discretion. Accounts will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.

9. You agree that the security of your account or system, including passwords, is your responsibility and that all use which emanates from your account or system will be considered to be undertaken by you unless it can be shown to have been an unauthorized intrusion. You agree to notify Geetel Communications immediately if you believe that your account or system has been compromised.

10. You agree to keep Geetel Communications informed of your current legal mailing address. Geetel Communications will not disclose this information to any third party except upon the presentation of a valid warrant or court order.

11. Any or all of these terms may be altered or superseded through the use of a written agreement stating such between you and Geetel Communications.

12. These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous representations, understandings or agreements and shall prevail notwithstanding any variance with terms and conditions of any other submitted.   Use of any Geetel Communications service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
